Woodruff Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Woodruff man is dead after a early evening motorcycle accident Tuesday night.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on S.J. Workman Highway, just outside the Woorduff city limits. According to Kathy Hiles of the Highway Patrol, the man, who was identified by the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office as 45-year old Ervin Kenny Hughes, lost control of the motorcycle.

Hiles says the man skidded off the road and laid the motorcycle down. The motorcycle did not strike anything and Hughes was not wearing a helmet.
