Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, fresh off a victory in the Pennsylvania Democratic primary, will be campaigning in Asheville on Thursday.

Clinton will appear at the Asheville Civic Center on Haywood Street at 8:00pm Thursday. She'll be joined by retired General Henry Shelton, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and former Fort Bragg commander.

The doors for the Solutions for America event will open at 6:00pm according to her campaign. The North Carolina visit comes in advance of the state's primary on May 6.

Clinton won the Pennsylvania contest Tuesday by about ten percentage points. The final count isn't in yet, but she has at least 80 of the 158 delegates that were at stake. Barack Obama won at least 66.

Obama still has the overall lead in convention delegates. The latest CBS News tabulation has Obama with 1,710 delegates to 1,584 for Clinton. A total of 2,025 is needed to clinch the Democratic nomination.

Polls in North Carolina show Obama with a lead of more than 15 points according to an averaging of surveys done by Real Clear Politics.com.

Indiana will also hold their primary on May 6. The Hoosier state has 72 delegates at stake. North Carolina's contest is for 115 convention delegates.
