Deputies say 6 to 8 people have been arrested in connection with a chase in Anderson County. Deputies say the people involved were actually involved in major drug activity.
Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies said they were trying to stop a vehicle late Wednesday night.
They said the car stopped at SC Highway 24 and Old Asbury Road, but the man inside jumped out and ran into the woods nearby.
Deputies found the suspected driver and arrested him.
Several arrests were made after the drug bust and more are expected. Oconee County, SLED and the FBI are involved.
