Starting today more than half of Anderson County residents and businesses will have to cut back on water waste.
Lake Hartwell is now well below the level used to impose “extreme drought” restrictions and residents will see some major changes.
Some of those include eliminating landscape irrigation no more flushing your gutters or washing your cars.
Nine water distribution systems got together today to announce the cutbacks.
You are affected if you are customers of the following districts.
Big Creek, Broadway, Hammond, Highway 88, Homeland park, Sandy Springs, Starr-iva, West Anderson and Williamston.
