Union County Sheriff’s deputies have captured a man that wore a Halloween mask and gloves while carrying a toy gun during a robbery at the First Citizens Bank in Jonesville Friday morning.
Friday night, Jonesville Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI went to the Nestle Plant in Cherokee County and arrested David Lee Glenn for Armed Robbery of the First Citizens Bank in Jonesville, SC. Glenn was an employee at Nestle. A vehicle matching the description investigators received in the morning was located in the parking lot of the plant and was taken to the Union County Sheriff’s Office Task Force to have a search warrant executed on it. Warrants are being signed on Glenn and he has been taken into custody and transported to Cherokee County Detention Center where he awaits transfer to the Union County Jail.

Sheriff Taylor says they caught him on surveillance video inside the store, and he is described as an African-American man, 20 to 30 years old with a thin build. he was wearing a hooded oak tree, camo jacket with blue surgical gloves and dark blue or gray pants and white tennis shoes.

Yep, this is not his first time in trouble with the law. Check Sptg. PSI site.
Not the first time ??? Just got caught!!
Thankful for the cameras in the places to identify him, and for the police to find him so quickly. We need more cameras and people watching for suspect robbers and thieves. We all need to crack down on these thugs.
can I put you down as a reference pattym1965?
where did he work? I need a job.
Well guess theres a position open at Nestle! =)
Did he not think he would get caught?
His picture was on the news! Someone that he works with watches the news and sees what he drives.
Thank you Mr. Glenn for putting peoples lives in danger. I live 1/2 mile from the bank and you my kids go to school around not far from there. My sister was passing by that bank as it was getting robbed. She was coming through there about 9:45. People like him….I have no pity for!
I think they need to have that thing installed in every bank to where when you come to the door of a bank they have to hit a switch for you to come in…and if u look suspicious they not let you in. My bank has that. And thats the smartest thing they could have ever done.
The CRIME rate around here has become redicalous! Makes me wanna get out of the Upstate!!!
People can be seriously stupid sometimes. This guy had a job making a decent wage. I will guess probably a whole lot more than a majority of Cherokee County residents make today due to the loss of alot of the higher paying jobs. People that made over 10 an hour and now has to settle for minimum wage are probably pretty mad at this time!!!
its true he worked at stouffers they came in the plant around 6:30 last night and arrested him. I worked with this guy every day and never would have thought he could do any thing like this it is a shock to all of us who seen this happen tonight.
YAY!!! Its confirmed~! THANK GOD!!!
You know this area is getting bad! The bank robberies and convienance store robberies….I mean OMG….people we all rough times…but to do something soooo stupid!
Go get on WELFARE or something…better than taking something thats not yours and putting peoples lives in danger!
I heard a lil while ago…he works at STOFFERS???? And they caught him there…and that he was from Jville!.... Can’t wait for the News to confirm that…I will feel a lot better!!!
