BMW Celebrates 15 Years in the Upstate
BMW celebrated 15 years of building cars in the Upstate by rolling out its 1.5 millionth US-made vehicle.
BMW marked 15 years of making cars at its Upstate factory by rolling out its 1.5 millionth vehicle on Tuesday.
The plant has grown from 600 employees in 1994 to about 5,000 workers and has an annual economic impact of $8.8 billion dollars in South Carolina, according to a recent study.
