Break-in Caught On Tape—Young Thieves Seen Stealing And Running

» 2 Comments | Post a Comment

A car breakin caught on tape. Now the homeowner who took the video, is hoping the thieves will be caught, and future thieves will take notice.

Deputies believe the young men in the video may have hit more than one home.  This all happened on Mason Drive in Inman, on Friday August 7th.

Shane Mancini came out of his home to find someone entered his car and stoleCD’s and other items.

But he had a plan in place to fight back against crime. A victim before, he installed a number of night vision surveillance cameras all over his home.

One of them captured the whole burglary on tape.

It happened around 3 in the morning while he, his wife and young son slept.

Two young men are seen clearly on the video, casing the car, opening the doors, taking the goods, and running off!

Mancini says his young son accidentally unlocked the doors before bed; as the child likes to play with the key remote.

Mancini doesn’t know who the young men in the video are.

The Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office tells us they are investigating this and say another car was broken into in the neighborhood the same night.
