Accident Flips Car on I-85

Cherokee County Dispatchers reported a car overturned on I-85 at the 87-mile marker in Cherokee County late Friday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol told us the car ran off the road on the northbound side, hit the wire barrier and ended up in the southbound lanes. The driver was airlifted to the hospital but she does not have life threatening injuries.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
