Two former Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies were scheduled to face a judge.
A continuance was issued today, because one of the defendant’s mother’s had a health issue.
Allison Howard claims Derrick Lavon Twitty and Joshua David Denton used a taser on her more than a dozen times while she was handcuffed in September 2008.  The officers are each charged with ‘assault on a female’.
Twitty and Denton were supposed to have hearings in March and June, but they have been delayed.

News Channel 7 will update this story.
