Crews Fighting Fire on Spartanburg’s West Side

Spartanburg County firefighters are on the scene of a home fire Wednesday morning near Westgate Mall.

Emergency dispatchers tell us the fire is at a residence at 506 Quartermaster Road. We’re told six fire units are on the scene.

There are no reports of anyone being trapped in the residence. A News Channel 7 photographer says the fire appears to have been contained to one room in the home.
