Dozens Arrested In Prostitution Sting

24 MEN ARRESTED IN PROSTITUTION REVERSAL  
On Saturday November 8, 2008 the Directive Patrol Unit of the Sheriff’s Office conducted a undercover prostitution sting in a response to complaint made by area residents.  This operation is commonly known as a “reversal” and used undercover female deputies to arrest persons that solicit them for sexual services.  These operation were conducted in the areas of Woodside Avenue at E and W Morgan, 3rd St at E Main Street (Woodside), and Easley Bridge Road and N Texas Avenue.  These areas are known for frequent prostitution.  There were 24 men arrested during this operation the charges for each were the State charge of Solicitation of Prostitution.  One man Ivan Ordina Sanchez was also charged with Unlawful Conduct Towards a Child as he had his three year old son in the vehicle when he solicited the undercover deputy.
