Duncan Man Charged With Lewd Act on Child

Milford Grady Douglas, 69, has been charged with committing or attempting lewd act upon child under 16.
A Duncan man has been charged for what investigators say was inappropriate physical conduct with juveniles over a five year period.
Milford Grady Douglas, 69, has been charged by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office with sex/lewd act, committing or attempting lewd act upon child under 16.
SCSO Public Information Officer Tony Ivey says they began investigating a complaint on July 20 about contact involving Douglas. The arrest warrant states Douglas had physical contact with the victim between December , 2008 and April 30 of this year.
Douglas was arrested on August 19 and has been released from the Spartanburg County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
The SCSO investigation continues and Ivey says there could be more charges filed against Douglas.

Felix, Please tell me…What does evil look like? Are admitted child predators identifiable by their pics? He didn’t admit to “patting” an infant on the behind. Society’s problem isn’t that we are looking for sickness, our problem is that we tolerate it. Along with the ignorance you so easily spew…..and you are right…you shouldn’t be around children. You need to stop speaking from the place you were patted on as a child.
How do we know what you are saying is true, Anonymous? You may know from where you speak but I do think Felix has a better assessment based on the limited information the public has at this time. I feel there will be plenty of time down the road to toss stones once due process is carried out. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be the first to suggest stringing up any proven child molester but we must assume innocence at this point.

The old nasty guy admitted to the crime, thank you very much. He is guilty and will spend time in Prison and hopefully be in general population where they will make him feel right at home if you know what I mean. There are several pending charges coming against him for the same thing. Trust me I know this first hand that he admitted to the crime that sick minded old man. I wish the law would allow the parents to take the law into their own hands when it comes to sick, nasty, messed up individuals as Grady. He will pay for his crime in prison.
This old man doesn’t look capable of doing very much to a child or anyone else. I wonder exactly what these “lewd acts” consist of sometimes.If he really DID something then fine,but it seems like nowdays you can’t touch a child without being guilty of some sort of misconduct. I remember when you could pat a baby’s butt…you better not do that now or you’ll find yourself in jail.I used to get “patted” all the time, what should I do? Haul the offenders up on charges 30 years later because they patted my butt?? Please. We have become a sick society that sees “sick” everywhere we look.Even when it’s not there. Makes me glad that I have no kids and am not around any.
