Fatal Accident on Holland Ford Road

One person was killed in an accident in Pelzer last night.  The Highway Patrol says it happened around 9:30 on Holland Ford Road near Beech Springs Road.  Investigators say the driver of a 1997 GMC convertible went off the road, hit an embankment, overturned and ejected the driver.  The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.  The victim’s identity has not yet been released.  No one else was involved in the accident.
