FDA Considering Food Allergy Labels

You may soon see new labels on the food you buy.

That’s because for people with food allergies, finding out if your food is dangerous can be tough.

Now health officials in the U.S. are considering setting standards.

The FDA wants to require specific labels for food made near or with potentially hazardous ingredients. Right now companies add that information voluntarily.
