Fundraiser For Puppy with Five Legs

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina woman who bought a five-legged puppy and paid to have the extra appendage removed is getting some help with her vet bills.
There’s a fight over a five-legged puppy from North Carolina. The owner of a Coney Island animal show, John Strong, says he had a deal to buy the dog, Lilly, from a Gastonia man. Multiple media outlets reported that the dog’s owner, Calvin Owensby, sold the Chihuahua-terrier pup to a Charlotte woman who wants to have the extra leg amputated next week so the dog can walk normally. Strong says he’s the rightful owner of the dog. But Allyson Siegel says—quoting—“over my dead body.“ The New York man says his show contains “amazing animals, oddities and freaks.“ Strong is hinting that he may go to court over the whole affair.
WBTV in Charlotte reported that a fundraiser will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at The Dog Bar in Charlotte to raise money to pay the vet bills of Lilly, a Chihuahua-terrier mix. The owners will donate $1 from every beer sold to go toward the bills.
Allyson Siegel paid $4,000 for Lilly, which included $1,000 to repay John Strong, who bought the dog originally. The New York man planned to use the dog in a side show.
She said the dog had the fifth leg removed early Thursday, in part because Strong said he planned to sue.

WHERES YOUR HEART ????? This one is simple. The lady who has the dog needs to just go ahead and get the extra leg amputated ASAP! With only four normal legs this freak-show freak will no longer be interested in him.
PUT HIM IN THE FREAK SHOW, LET PEOPLE PAY TO STARE AT HIM. HE WOULD PROBABLY GO BROKE QUICK…..
