Former Anderson Deputy Indicted for Securities Fraud

A former Anderson County Sheriff’s deputy has been indicted for securities fraud by the state attorney general.
William Timothy Busha engaged in a fraud in connection with a bond and investigation company - United Investigations, LLC - that resulted in a loss for investors of $20,000 or more according to the grand jury indictment filed Wednesday.
The indictment says Busha was involved in those activities in Anderson County from November 2006 until November of 2008.
Busha resigned from the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in September, 2006.
