Four Preliminary Winners Announced At Miss SC, Miss Teen SC Competition

Four winners were announced at the Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen Pageant preliminaries Thursday night at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.

Miss Capital City, Morgan Dampier, of Hartsville, won the talent competition with her saxophone rendition of “Amazing Grace.“ Miss Laurens County, 22-year old Tiona Lee, won the swimsuit competition, while Miss Laurens Teen, 17-year old Ali Rogers, won the teen talent competition with her piano performance of “In The Mood.“ Easley’s Leslie Spearman, Miss Greater Mauldin, won the physical fitness award. 

The preliminary competitions continue Friday night at 7 pm with 45 Miss South Carolina and 33 Miss Teen South Carolina competitors attempting to be crowned Miss South Carolina and Miss Teen South Carolina.

The finals will be Saturday night at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.
