Girlfriend Charged With Pointing Shotgun at Spartanburg Man

A woman was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature in Spartanburg County after deputies say she pointed a shotgun at her boyfriend.

Jennifer Ann Greene, 25, was charged early Monday morning after the incident at some apartments at 1465 Grant Circle. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the residence because of a fight involving weapons.

Investigators say Greene was arguing with her boyfriend - the two share the apartment - when they say Greene got a shotgun and pointed the weapon at him.

The man fled the apartment and called authorities. The incident report states Greene has a three-year old child who lives with her. The suspect’s mother came to the residence to pick up the child according to the report.

Greene is being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
