Good Handshake Could Get You The Job

Getting ready for a big job interview?  Experts say how you shake a hand could make or break your first impression.

There is some expert advice… You need to hear.

“The first impression in the first 10 seconds of the interview is the most important,” says Carly Lineberry of Upstate Career Source.

“Within those 10 seconds you have the opportunity to make the handshake, the eye contact, and show that you’re self assured, self-confident and are ready to take the job,” adds Lineberry.

Career Builder says be firm, but don’t grip to hard, don’t be cold and clamy, don’t be sweaty, and don’t use just 4 fingers.

Those at Upstate Career Source actually teach people the proper hand shake.

In a flooded job market, it’s coming down to the little things.
