GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford has had his hands full with an Ethics Commission investigation of his aircraft use, as well as his revelation of a yearlong affair with a woman in Argentina.

Now his hands are really hurting.

The Greenville News reported that Sanford said Wednesday he sprained both wrists in a bike accident Saturday with his youngest son.

Sanford says his son suddenly turned left and Sanford was locked in his pedals and went down. He says he was lucky he didn’t break his wrists.

Sanford says he went ahead with a 4-mile Mud Run obstacle course race with another son Saturday afternoon, which didn’t help. He says X-rays Sunday showed a tiny hairline fracture.

I’m glad he wants to spend time with his boys now.  Where was his slimy self on father’s day?
