A state grand jury decided there’s enough evidence presented by the 13th circuit solicitor to uphold both the murder and reckless homicide charges against John Ludwig, Jr.  That information from the 13th circuit solicitor.
Investigators say Ludwig was driving his Masserati more than 85 mph, lost control of his Maserati and plowed through a field and into a house on April 25, 2009.

The car crashed into the back of 62-year-old Frederic Bardsley’s home, killing Bardsley.  Bardsley’s wife had minor injuries.

Ludwig says he was trying to avoid deer in the road.
