Greenville County Park Haunted By Hospital’s Ghosts?

It’s one of the last places you’d expect to see a ghost.

A popular children’s park in Greenville County is one of the most haunted places in this area, according to paranormal experts.

Herdklotz Park is located on Beverly Road. It was built two years ago on the site of Greenville’s old tuberculosis hospital—which could be the reason for the hauntings.

“I would have to say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Herdklotz park is one of the most haunted public parks you’re going to find in upstate South Carolina,“ says Jason Profit, a paranormal investigator and psychic.

The hospital was built in 1930. In the 1970s, it was converted into a prison. Later abandoned, it burned to the ground in 2002. Herdklotz Park was built in 2007. Profit says he has conducted research at the park and captured recordings of disembodied voices. People who live nearby also report seeing shadowy figures running into the treeline.
