Greenwood Man Arrested For Sex With A Minor He Met On Myspace

A Greenwood man is arrested for criminal sexual conduct with a minor. 

The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office says a 13-year-old girl was reported as a runaway juvenile to the Laurens Police Department. 

The girl was later located in Greenwood and told authorities she had contact with 25 year old Kendrick Smith on myspace. 

She tells investigators Smith picked her up in Laurens and drove her to his home where they did engage in sexual activity. 

Smith is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
