Honea Path Officer Fired—Shown Beating Teen

FIRST OF ALL THESE ARE 15 YR OLD BOYS WHO WERE NOT DRUNK, WERENT ON DRUGS AND WERE JUST LEAVING A GAS STATION GETTING GAS IF U R GONNA POST COMMENTS GET ALL THE FACTS AND WATCH THE VIDEO HE DID STOP AT FIRST BUT PROBABLY GOT SCARED WHEN HIS FRIENDS JUMPED N RAN! THE GUN WAS A BB GUN! AND ONCE AGAIN READ N LISTEN TO THE FACTS HE TOLD THE OFFICER HE HAD IT. ONCE THE COP HAD HIM UP AGAINST THE CAR HE HIT HIM AGAIN OFF CAMERA W HIS OTHER SET OF HANDCUFFS. YES HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED AND HIS SUPERIORS HAD THEY NOT!!! NO THEY SHOULDNT HV BEEN ON THE MAIN ROAD AT NIGHT THAT LATE BUT THEY ARE COUNTRY BOYS DOING COUNTRY THINGS AND RAN OUT OF GAS ....DID THIS TEACH THEM TO RESPECT THE ONES THAT R SUPPOSED TO PROTECT US NO IT JUST MAKES THEM MORE AFRAID THAN THEY ALREADY WERE AND SHOWS THEM WHAT HAPPENS WHEN U PISS ONE OFF AND IT DIDNT TAKE MUCH TO DO THAT W THIS GUY. REMEMBER IT WAS A FOUR WHEELER MAX SPEED 35 MPH THEY WERE YOUNG BOYS AND THERE WAS A MUCH BETTER WAY THAN BEATING HIM W A FLASHLIGHT ...COULD IT BE BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY BROWN SKIN BOY ?? THE OTHERS WERENT BEATEN N ALL CHARGES DROPPED?? THEY WERE ALL WHITE!!!?? AND THEY ARE THE ONES WHO RAN AND CAUSED HIM TO SPOOK AND TAKE OFF ONCE HE HAD STOPPED ...WE HV ALL BEEN TEENAGERS AND MADE MISTAKES BUT WHAT WILL THESE BOYS HAVE LEARNED FROM THIS ONE ...THE COP HAD BEEN ON THE FORCE FOR 18 YEARS HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH EXPERIENCE NO EXCUSE FOR HIM!! I can tell that neither of you have ever been in a situation where a decision had to be made in a nano second to protect yourself or others from immediate harm due to someone within arms length of you.. You all agreed that he was “just sitting there with his arms down by his sides” (ATV still running and ready…he ran out of road). Hand by his side where the gun in his pocket was located. OOPS there is a thought of “what if”. The last time I had the opportunity to look down the barrel of a gun was when the man I was facing 3 feet away was holding “his arms by his sides”. The gun comes out so fast you do not have time to react other than soiling your pants.I believe felix said he could have drawn his gun and made him get on the ground. Do not draw your weapon unless you intend to use it. Kiddo did not stop for a blue light, ran numerous stop signs, and cracked a flurry of other laws. Why do you think he would comply now? The officer did not say please did he? Remember about 20 years ago when Deputy Chris Taylor approached a truck in the early morning hours to tell the driver he was dragging some hose behind him and was killed by a single shot from a pistol by a teenager out doing stupid things. It really easy to think “poor kid”, but he was placing himself and others in harms way with his actions. Let us all be glad nothing serious happened. And NO I am not in law enforcement, I am to much of a chicken. I would have my gun out all the time as a matter of fact… two guns and 1 in each sock. Everybody have a Merry Christmas before next years tax schedule arrives, but that is another story isn’t it.

I agree with theblonde. This kid was sitting there with his arms hanging down to his sides while his last remaining buddy took off on foot. There was no reason for him to hit him with that flash light. Ever been hit with one? I have on accident and I thought my leg would fall off. No, it wasn’t by a policeman, but it hurt all the same. I just don’t understand the abuse of power.

To the bleeding hearts club—that was not a Honea Path mill hill beating as I remember getting them 40 years ago—I have been patted on the back harder than that. Some of you need to get out of the house and experience the real world as it occurs for the average policeman. Maybe you bleeding hearts think it would have been better to not chase them at all… Then a big truck( they do exist) could have broadsided them in the dark (no lights on) and bashed their brains out onto the pavement(it does happen). Would you now feel better about the situation? No you would not—- your response would be “Why didn’t the police do something!“ Baby whining in the background. LOUD WHINING! Turns MY GUT!

FIRST OF ALL IF YOU WILL WATCH THIS VIDEO GAIN, THE OFFICER ONLY PUSHED THE HOOLIGAN OFF THE ATV, THEN HE PRECEDED AROUND THE ATV, THATS WHEN HE SAW GUN, GUN PEOPLE HOW HARD IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND. ALSO THE ONLY REASON AND I MEAN ONLY REASON THE HOOLIGAN STOPPED WAS BECAUSE IT WAS A DEAD END. NOTICE I USE HOOLIGAN,SPOILED A** CHILD ALOT AND I MEAN IT. HE SAT ON THE ATV LIKE HE WAS ABOVE IT.
