Hundreds Of Protestors To Line Gay Pride March...
Spartanburg's first gay pride march has protestors signing up by the dozens.For the first time ever in Spartanburg, there will be a gay pride march this weekend.
Those marching will be doing so with Upstate Pride. They are expecting a couple of hundred marchers from all over the Upstate.
Conversely there about a dozen groups already getting their protest permits and it’s expected they will have several hundred protestors along the march’s route.
Pastor Joey Wampler of Resurrection Baptist Church in Spartanburg says he got a protesting permit to defend the Lord and that homosexuality is a sin. He says he’s hoping the protesting bring some of the gay marchers into the church and leave their homosexual way of life.
Ashley Thomas from Upstate pride says she doesn’t understand why people don’t like the way she lives. She believes “love is love” and it shouldn’t matter what sex the person is.
Thomas is hoping the march will open the eyes of many and let them know that gay people are people too.
Both the protestors and the marchers say they will be acting peacefully.

After reading all these hateful comments concerning the March later this morning, I’m just praying that no violence erupts between the protesters & the marchers. Regardless, I will be there to support my Gay brothers & sisters, and yes, their FAMILIES also.

The answer, according to the Bible, is that everyone inherently knows that homosexuality is immoral and unnatural, and the only way to suppress this inherent knowledge is by normalizing homosexuality and attacking any and all opposition to it. The best way to normalize homosexuality is by placing gay marriage/same-sex marriage on an equal plane with traditional opposite-gender marriage. Romans 1:18-32 illustrates this. The truth is known because God has made it plain. The truth is rejected and replaced with a lie. The lie is then promoted and the truth suppressed and attacked. The vehemence and anger expressed by many in the gay rights movement to any who oppose them is, in fact, an indication that they know their position is indefensible. Trying to overcome a weak position by raising your voice is the oldest trick in the debating book. There is perhaps no more accurate description of the modern gay rights agenda than Romans 1:31, “they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.”

Dont tell me about what real Christians believe, everything is a sin according to some “religions”. I am a Christian and closer to God that you can ever imagine. So you can say what you like about me, doesnt phase me. I know the truth and reality, not what some man interpretes for a couple of hours a week.

you miss the point. I never said I “hate” Baptists and Bible Thumpers. Do NOT twist my words. But that is good you did, goes right back to my point of misinterpretations. I pinpointed those 2 groups, and not that there are not others mind you. But, I just directed focus to those two groups based on their INTOLERANCE of anyone. Let me ask you, what is YOUR take on gays, topless women on a beach, and various forms of sexual activity? My problem is not a hate but one of total HYPOCRISY.
Tomorrow, watch who will be against these people marching, follow closely which denominations will be there. Then you will get my point.
