They’re calling it the most disgusting thing they have ever seen.
Police in Lavonia, Ga made a shocking find. A mother and her four young kids, held hostage in their own home, for three years.
The children’s father has been arrested, accused of locking them inside as prisoners, under horrendous conditions.
The discovery was made at the Beaver Dam trailer park, after the mom got free. Inside the mobile home was trash and roaches.
We asked Lavonia police chief Bruce Carlisle, “Have you ever seen anything as disgusting as this?“ He replied, “No…this takes the cake…I’ve been in law for 30 years…and this is the most disgusting thing I’ve seen.“
The kids are all under the age of 15 and are now in protective custody.
The man arrested, Raymond Thurmond, faces rape, child abuse and false imprisonment charges. His wife told police he repeatedly raped her during their imprisonment.
We’re told Thurmond could face additional charges.

THREE YEARS COME ON
I can’t believe this! I went to high school with Daniel. He was in my graduating class of approximately 125. So, we all knew each other pretty well, I thought. He was always quiet, polite, and non-confrontational. I haven’t seen him seen him in years, but would’ve never expected this.
