Lt. Holcombe with Greer Police says a missing man from Greenville county walked into the emergency room naked and covered in electrical burns over 90 percent of his body.

Holcombe said Joseph Asher said he chased a rabbit into a Duke Power substation and was shocked.

Police say it happened on South Buncombe Road across from Greer Memorial Hospital.

The burned remains of the man’s clothes were found near the power station.

The man was airlifted to Augusta, Georgia where he is being treated for the burns.

Asher’s wife told police he had been missing for 3 days.

This is truly sad.  I sure hope he is going to be alright.  Can you imagine what that would be like?  Being burned?
I am glad even though he might not have been in a good mental state, that he had enough mentality to make it to the ER.  Thank God for that!

Was this a real rabbit or a hallucination? Was he really chasing a rabbit or was he trying to steal copper wire? Eaither way I believe he’s ready for the nervous hospital.

This is very bad. I feel sorry for the man but I am wondering what he was doing chasing a rabbit? Did he actually think he was going to catch it? Didn’t he know the rabbit would bite and claw him to pieces if he did catch it? Sounds like this man must have been mentally unbalanced.
