The man who survived a balloon crash in the Upstate has been moved to a hospital in Michigan. You remember this picture from our coverage partners at the Anderson Independent-Mail. The pilot, Chuck Waltz, was competing in the balloon festival over the weekend when he crashed into a tree on South McDuffie Street in Anderson. Right now there is no word on what caused the crash. The NTSB tells us the report won’t be ready for at least 30 days.
