Two people have now been charged in connection with an armed robbery at Aunt Sue’s Restaurant on Highway 11 in Pickens County.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office has charged Solomon John Every and Maria Cordelia Morgan with one count each of armed robbery and simple larceny.

Investigators say Every approached the victim and demanded a key from her and then left in her vehicle with Morgan, who we’re told was standing nearby at the time.

Every and Morgan were being held in Greenville County, where they were arrested late Sunday night. They will be served warrants by Pickens County authorities when they are released in Greenville County.

A suspect sought after two carjacking in Greenville and Pickens counties have been apprehended after a daylong manhunt.

Greenville County Sheriff’s deputies searched on North River Road, near Marietta, for a man who they say carjacked a man at gunpoint at a Pickens County restaurant and a state park in Greenville County, and a woman believed to be his accomplice. Just after 7 pm they were both apprehended by the Greenville County K-9 unit.

According to a report obtained from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, the man approached a employee of the restaurant and pointed a gun at his head and demanded the man’s car. Virgina Bolwers say it could have easily been her that was carjacked, but it was her co-worker. “He was saying what time do you open and how’s your barbecue and all this stuff and he put his hand out to shake it and when he reached his hand out is when he presented the gun,“ Virgina Bolwers said. Authorities say a short time later, the man was spotted by a Greenville County Sheriff’s deputy on Pumpkintown Road and the man led police on a chase that ended on Cherokee Lane and the man fled on foot.

Greenville County Sheriff’s deputies and the Sheriff’s helicopter have been searching the area throughout Sunday. Late Sunday afternoon, the man was spotted off of Pumpkintown Road with what authorities say is a female accomplice and another all out search ensued.

The suspect, described as a white male with a goatee, was wearing shorts and a camoflauge-black hoodie. He is also suspected in an armed carjacking of a 17-year old Saturday afternoon in Greenville County at Jones Gap State Park.

Investigators are still not sure of the releationship between the man and woman arrested. The male suspect has been taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries.
