Gov. Sanford as a member of the republican party has for years has preached right wing views.Being a constitutionalist hate having personal rights destroyed by government.I say this not to condem the Governor for he is human and will do things of the flesh.Mr.Sanford certainly hurt his family and I pray for them as a Christian. But on that note the Government should get out of MY!! private life where I normally only hurt myself.

I think that Gov.Sanford should take time to try to reconcile his 20 years of marriage. And I think his wife should forgive him and stand by him b/c divorce is not all ways the answer.

Certainly this is tragic for this family and for South Carolina, and it has set off yet another media feeding frenzy.  The most critical issue, apart from morality and family concerns, is the revelation of poor judgment on the part of a leader who is charged with making major decisions affecting the lives of others.  Surely it’s not evident only his personal life.  Apparenly, politicians often project a public persona which is only for performance and image, and the self-centeredness and manipulation that are part of the political process are also part of their private lives.

What if in worst case the woman he went to see in Argentina w/o telling anyone his whereabouts had a fatal attraction moment while he was trying to break it off with her, and killed him while he was visiting her? No one would have known anything.I feel he should have let someone know that was close to him, where he was going. But he was not thinking with a clear mind.
