Newspaper: Two Arrested During Meth Bust

Two people have been arrested in Cherokee County and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines, according to the Cherokee County Chronicle.
Ricky Lynn Peace, 23, and Metta Elizabeth Pridmore, 27, both of 3252 Chesnee Highway have been charged possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, while Peace was also charged with distribution of methamphetamine. Captain David Oglesby with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office told the newspaper that narcotic agents executed a search warrant on Wednesday for a home located at 3252 Chesnee Highway. According to the article, the agents gained entry and located a quantity of methamphetamine and one pill, later identified as carisoprodol.
The Cherokee County Chronicle also reports that a sum of money, two sets of digital scales and a hand held programmable police scanner were also seized during the raid.
