One Dead After Fiery Greenville Accident

One person is dead and two others have been hospitalized after an accident in Greenville County just after midnight Sunday morning.
The wreck happened at 12:30 on Interstate 85 around mile marker 43, according to Cpl. Bryan McDougald of the South Carolina Highway Patrol. McDougald says that the driver of a 2003 Kia SUV, Kimberly Booker, of Greenville, was traveling northbound on the interstate when she lost control of the vehicle, went off the right side of the road and up an embankment and struck a bridge overpass. The vehicle then caught on fire and came back down.
McDougald says Booker was ejected from the vehicle.
Carrigan Halley Sterling, 13 years old from Easley died in the accident. She was a student at Powdersville Middle school.
