Parents Charged In Child Abduction In Court

Henry and Cathy Hollenbeck made their first court appearance Friday on charges of felony child abduction. Their case has been assigned to the public defender’s office, according to the Hendersonville Times-News.
The couple was captured in Wyoming in October, after investigators say they failed to meet with Social Service workers. The Hollenbecks are in the Henderson County jail, awaiting their next court appearance scheduled for Nov. 20.
Their daughter is in the custody of the Department of Social Services. The couple was charged with child neglect in 2006, after investigators say their son was bitten by rats inside their home.
