The search for Anne Pressly’s killer continues today and her father is now talking about the girl who grew up in Greenville before becoming a television news anchor in Arkansas. Police in Little Rock say they have not identified a specific suspect who beat pressly and left her for dead in her home more than a week ago.

Anne died over the weekend. Her family will lay her to rest tomorrow while police are keeping in touch about the investigation.

Anne’s father, Guy Cannady said, “They are a little bit frustrated, as we all are, that progress has not been made yet, but I have every confidence in the process and the procedures that they’re using and going forward with.“

Police believe the murder was a random act. Cannady says the family donated Anne’s organs before her death and six patients have benefited.

KATV has established a reward fund for information.

A funeral for Pressly is set for Thursday at 11am at St. Andrew’s Church, 8300 Kanis Road in Arkansas. The family specifically requests in lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to: The Anne Pressly Scholarship Fund, KATV, P.O. Box 77, Little Rock, AR 72203.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
