Purse Snatching Reproted At K-Mart

Greenville Deputies say a 73-year-old woman was robbed at a Sulphur Springs Road K-Mart Sunday when a man snatched her purse out of her hands and drove off.

Deputies said she was loading her car with her purchases when she was robbed.

The suspect is described as a short white man in his 20s, driving a midsize, dark colored vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoopers at 23-CRIME.

Because there are increases in robberies during the holiday, the Sheriff’s Office is asking that the public use caution while shopping. The sheriff issued the following safety tips:

Know where your vehicle is parked
Watch for an suspicious person or activity
