The Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office is hunting for armed men, after a rash of armed robberies hit Spartanburg’s West side.

The two most brazen robberies took place this past Saturday.

The first on Cloverleaf Lane (near Blackstock Rd.), where a man was robbed at gunpoint in his neighborhood. He says three young men in ski masks put a gun to his head.

Also that day, two woman who were at a stop sign at Worden Drive were surrounded by two armed men who put guns to their head and stole one of the women’s purses.

Victim Linda Lee Adams told us, “To see my daughter with a gun to her head and begging for her life—its something I don’t want to ever see again.“

Then on Sunday a pizza delivery man had the same experience while delivering a pizza to a home on North Blackstock Road.

The Sheriff’s Office cant say yet whether they think it’s the same suspects in all the cases, but the descriptions given are similar.

While I feel sorry for those that have had their lives put in danger, one day, these robbers will choose the “right” one to hold up and find the outcome a different way. Evidently they are to stupid to realise that firearm sales and amunition sales are up, time will tell.
