Report: DJ AM Found Dead In New York City

Almost one year after a plane crash nearly claimed his life, DJ AM was found dead today in New York City, according to entertainment website TMZ.com.
DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his New York City apartment at 5:20 pm. TMZ.com is reporting that sources told them that drug paraphernalia was found at the scene and he had not been seen or heard from in several days.
The report states that friends went to check on him, but did not get a response after knocking on his apartment door. TMZ.com reports that friends called police and police responded and knocked down the door and found his body.
Last Septemeber, DJ AM and Travis Barker were the only survivors after a plane crash at Columbia Metropolitan Airport. Four people were killed when the plane they were on aborted takeoff and ran off the runway.
