Reward Offered In Murder Investigation Of Upstate Teen

Anderson area CrimeStoppers has placed a sign at River Oak Apartments on East River Street on Friday, announing a $2,000 reward for information on the murder of 16-year old Jerry “Drek” Mattison.

Authorities say Mattison was shot and killed at the apartment complex on June 21st. They say they have no leads in the case. They hope the reward will get someone to come forward with information about the crime. They say the shooting left three others injured.

The sign was donated by Danny Tollison of Regal Sign Company.
