MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina high school student has died after his motorcycle crashed into a school bus. No one else was injured.

Multiple media outlets report that the crash happened as the bus and motorcycle were turning on to the S.C. 31 ramp in Myrtle Beach around 8 a.m. Monday. There were no students on the bus, and the driver was treated at the scene.

Horry County School District spokeswoman Teal Britton says the student attended the Academy of Arts, Science and Technology, and his base school was Myrtle Beach High School. His name has not been released.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
