Shooting Investigation In Anderson County

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office blocked off a few streets Friday morning in Anderson for a shooting that happened in the early morning hours.  Our cameras were there just after one o’clock, and deputies tell us a man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital by Medshore.  It all happened at 706 perry Street in Anderson.  That’s just off Route 29.  We are told the man is expected to be okay, and the Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
