LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas police say an intruder attacked a popular TV anchorwoman in her home and left her with life-threatening injuries.

Little Rock police say 26-year-old KATV anchor Anne Pressly was found by her mother at about 4:30 a.m. Monday. Police spokeswoman Cassandra Davis says Pressly was found lying in her bed and
bleeding from “severe wounds.“ She was non-responsive.

A hospital spokeswoman didn’t return a call regarding her condition.

Davis says the attack may have come during a robbery, because Pressly’s purse was missing. There are no suspects.

The Greenville, S.C. native anchors a 5 a.m. broadcast for KATV, an ABC affiliate.
