Sheriff’s Office Searching For Serial Criminal

Deputies and Officers from North and South Carolina have warrants for the arrest of who they say is a serial criminal.
They say 30 year old Jason Brian Osborne, has a rap sheet nearly 20 pages long. And he’s got 68 convictions on his record.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says he may be responsible for a string of crimes that stretch across the county and into neighboring counties and states.
Investigators believe Osborne could be responsible for auto thefts, home burglaries, and credit card thefts.
They say he is using those cards right now.
In Spartanburg County alone Osborne is a suspect in over 40 burglaries.
NewsChannel 7 asked the sheriffs office, why someone with this history would be out on the loose. They say, because most of his crimes were small, jail time is usually short, and he would quickly get back on the street.
Osborne’s last known address is in Inman. He is thought to be driving a late model Nissan pick-up truck that is burgundy—recently stolen from the Boiling Springs area.
Investigators and Deputies are hard at work following up on tips called in to the Sheriff’s Office and to CrimeStoppers.
Anyone who knows where Osborne is is asked to call Crimestoppers locally at 58-crime or call 911. You should not approach him.

3 strikes you’re out may be too few convictions to send someone to prison for life, maybe 10 felonies and you’re gone. Better yet let’s put them all on a desert island with no way to get off.

We need to start putting judges in jail for releasing the punk back on the street to do the crime again.
He’ll get caught in someone house or messing around in someone car. The splattering of his brain will put a end to the serial activity.
Would one or more of you news people ask a couple of law enforcement agencies (and a few government attorneys) “How in the heck could you people let dangerous criminals (like this guy) out from behind bars? Wasn’t he on ANYBODY’s radar? A guy that looks this young, and has SO MANY convictions, should be locked up for good. I agree with some states’ “Three strikes you’re out” laws, especially for dangerous guys like this. I don’t own a gun, but I wish I did, to protect my family & community from dangerous guys like this !!
I agree 1000% with madasheck! Rehabilitation DOES NOT work. How many sexual predators are released because someone decides that the criminal has been rehabilitated only to have them commit the same crime again! Enough is enough! time to wake up judges!
Serial Criminal my big fat buttttt???? If he has such a long history of Crime, why is he on the streets today??? Hunt this punk down and send him to the big house and be done with him and anyone like him. Forget all the appeals and hopes of rehabilitation, you can’t rehab jerks like this. I’m sick of hearing about scum like this making decent peoples lives miserable. I’m sick of hearing about punks like this dancing around justice because some judge with silk panties and a very blue sky, wants to give him another chance. Enough!!! Give him what he deserves, life in the big house with big Bruce and Bubba for play mates.
