A strip club security guard is charged with assault with intent to kill.
This, after police say, he fired multiple shots into a crowded parking lot, trying to stop a customer police say, is innocent of any crime.

James Neal, bonded out of jail yesterday, after officers say he fired his gun at The Penthouse Club in Wellford days earlier. The customer was thought to have stolen money from a dancer inside.

But because the man got in his truck and drove away from the scene, officers determined there was no immediate danger, and the use of deadly force wasn’t warranted.

Neal did not come to the door to comment when we visited his home Thursday night.
