Two suspects are in custody and two law enforcement cars are damaged after a chase in Laurens County Tuesday morning.

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office says the pursuit started when Laurens Police made a traffic stop in the city limits. Laurens police Chief Robin Morse says officers pulled the car over for a reported stolen tag.

The chase went into Laurens County where we’re told a Sheriff’s Office car was hit from behind and spun around. A Laurens Police vehicle was also hit during the chase, but we don’t know how extensive the damage was to that car.

The chase ended with the suspects being arrested at Ghost Creek Road in Laurens County. That’s where one of the patrol cars was involved in a crash. The other law enforcement vehicle was in a collision at Hunter Industrial Park Road in Laurens.

The names of the suspects have not been released and there is no word on if there were any injuries from the chase.
