I too live off Buck Shoals Road, and while I am glad the police are patrolling for now, I’m scared of what will happen in a few days or weeks if this killer is not caught, and the police are no longer able to patrol so heavily. Someone, somewhere, knows something, and I pray that he/she will tell the police what they know.  I also pray that the person who did this will be caught soon.

Daveyblanton you are exactly right, with Sheriff Chuck Wright involved in the case, the guy is as good as caught.  I believe the Mr. Wright will not stop until he gets his man/woman.

I live in Cherokee County and have lived here all my life. Im so sorry for what the families are going through I could never imagine it. I’ve always felt safe but something like this would have anyone afraid. Just this afternoon there was a robbery in Blacksburg at a business right beside the police station. It’s hard to see what this world is coming to and I hope they find these horrible people soon!!

Wikipedia def. of serial killer is one who kills 3 or more over a period of more than a month with a cooling off period. Done for psychological gratification. Usually a common denominator is present. Same sex, age, race etc.

I live on Buck Shoals Rd—just want everyone to know how incredible safe I feel at this moment—every other car going up and down Buck Shoals is a police car—and every 4th vehicle is a news truck.  Our community is being watched very, very closely!! Thank you Cherokee County law enforcement and to all other agencies involved!!!!

I feel so much sadness for the families whom have lost their loved ones. I am extremely concerned about the welfare of my children and grandchildren who live in the area. It is not right to be so scared that you keep all of your doors locked and don’t go outside for fear of losing your life.  I think that I might put a hay for sale sign in my yard and see what happens. I can promise you that I will be the victorious one, I would be the last place that he ever stopped. I am sorry to say that but it is how I feel. We have the right to protect ourselves.

Sonds like the law enforcement is getting re-enforced to get on this man’s tail.  I sure hope they find him soon.  We do not need to lose any other precious people.  God be with all the families in that area and protect them.

My heart goes out to both families. I hope and pray this man is caught. What if it was his family. No one deserves to die like that. I hope he gets everything he has coming to him and more.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the tragic death of Mrs. Linder and her daughter,Mrs. Parker. Mrs. Linder was one of my 7th grade teachers some 54 years ago, and during my entire lifetime I have often reflected back to things Mrs. Linder said and taught us as students. She was that kind of a person, one whom you never forget. What a shame for such a beautiful life to end this way.
