The family of a young mother found dead in a creek, is pleading for the public’s help in finding her killer, as the deputies continue to search for leads.
24 year old Allison Southerland was found murdered in Greenville County in early August.
She died of blunt force trauma.
Deputies say the area where she was killed is a known place for couples to meet up.
Investigators also say this is the third body they’ve found in that area in the past three years.
Southerland left behind two young children.
Southerland’s mother, Tammy Morrison says, “I cant sleep—I see her when I wakeup—its really hard.“
Southerland’s family says even though the young woman may not have been leading the best life, she didn’t deserve her fate.
If you have any information, you are asked to call the Greenville County Sheriffs Office.
