Voter Registration Deadline Looms

The deadline for voter registration to vote in the November election is Oct. 4, according to the South Carolina Election Commission.

Voters who have changed their county of residence must register in their new county by Oct. 4 as well.

Voters needing to register can:
Stop by their county voter registration office
Download a voter registration application online. The form must be printed, complted and mailed to the voter’s county registration office.

Most county voter registration offices will be open on Saturday, October 4th.  Check with your local office regarding Saturday hours.  All applications postmarked by October 4th will be accepted.
To help ensure the upcoming General Election runs as efficiently as possible, those already registered are urged to update their information. 
All registered voters should check their voter registration cards to ensure their information is correct.
