Polling Places Open Until 7 P.M.; Voters in Line Will be Allowed to Vote

Columbia, S.C. – With less than two hours left to vote in South Carolina, the South Carolina Election Commission would like to remind all registered voters that all polling locations will be open until 7 p.m. tonight.  All voters in line by 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Election results will be available tonight at http://www.scvotes.org. Results will be reported as each county completes their count.

With a large voter turnout expected to continue and many voters remaining in line after 7 p.m., polling precincts will not be able to report their results until after all voters in line have voted.

All election results reported tonight will be unofficial.  Officials results will be certified on Friday, November 7.
