What Are Children Thankful For?

It's the time of year when many look back and reflect. We all think of reasons we have to be thankful. Today, News Channel 7's Charmayne Brown, took that question to children-- children who wanted to tell us what's they're thankful for. The time of year is quite obvious in downtown Spartanburg. Christmas decoration adorn poles and Morgan Square. Christmas is in the air and so is tomorrow's holiday. It's time to give thanks.

Christmas came early for kids at two Upstate elementary schools. Spartanburg businessman Andrew Lacey gave a new coat to every child at Arcadia and Lone Oak Elementary Schools.

Thousands of dollars that used to come to the Upstate to help those in need have been given to the Governor's Office. Total Ministries can no longer help clients with things like heat or rent because it's corporate donations have been cut severely, leaving some people in the cold.
