Parents and athletes at T.L. Hanna High School are working together to raise money, hoping to offset district budget cuts that eliminated funding for transportation of each of the school’s 39 sports teams, according to athletic director Kenya Fouch. It’s a problem he said is much broader reaching than the Anderson County high school.

Those of you wanting or needing more time to get ready for the switch to digital television are getting your wish. Today’s Senate vote delays the official switch to June 12.

    This isn’t about Santa Claus coming to town.

    It’s about the things you need to do to be ready for the DTV conversion, now just 96 days away (as of 11/13/08).

    At midnight on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, News Channel 7 and the other television stations across the country will stop broadcasting an analog signal and will broadcast in digital only.
